Survivors
Your memory haunts my mind With actions you claim of being kind A trust completely misguided Leaves our friendship undecided You out of my life is what I wish But certain situations leave that thought adrift You words keep haunting me inside For now your presence I must abide Soon I hope to escape Every inch and thought of this rape The feelings were a bit one sided But you knew that from arguments and words recited Even with the knowledge of the way I felt You forced cards to be dealt A night supposed to be fun, we both got drunk And I left my mental state completely sunk An image of me getting sick For some reason gave you the right to use your dick Intoxication left me unable to consent but that was your cue that will can be bent For the memory I can’t recollect And yours only seems to be select Is this a fantasy in your head, I guess we’ll never know For your memory took a week or so Your responses after the fact Well logic is what they lacked The truth is you crossed a line One I thought I had clearly defined
