Silence In the Library
I've come to find peace inside the rusty pages Dusted by darkness and kept away by the ages Like a bird builds its nest, I've made a home with phrases Of people that roam these passages, leaving glares at places. It no longer bothers my view the dust in their formy bubbles Nor the clinging and clashing at the withered garden of shovels We jump happily their puddles and wonder together their tunnels Placing away their stories delicately, like puzzles. Dare no one disrupt the sanctity of this stillness It's the haven for lost souls, when in your eyes is just illness I have found here my sanctuary, inside this ghostly shrillness Walk the tunnel to your farewell, and plug the sunlight to our dimness. Honor the secrecy that wavers inside this library Its books, its ghosts, offer many worlds and have deny me any Gives the solitude long searched, and asks nothing but to bury Those who open the pathway to the cacophony; it will take me, it will take any.
