Oh, it was hard to see; my tears were falling and I was full of dread, I sent a prayer upwards with a wishful plea. My beautiful girl was dying! And I was shattered, through a haze of tears I kissed her head; and I held her in my arms till her last breath, whispering my love and pressed her to my heart. We stayed this way for a very, very long time, I sang her a lullaby.
