When the Morning Comes
Not all is blissful when the morning comes, And we do not always long to kiss the dawn. Sometimes the body and spirit cling to the night; But duty demands that we must rise without a fight. Vehicles of every stripe awake from their restful sleep, With engine and road sounds disturbing and awaking me. My preferred time to rise is usually between 5 and 6:30, While the quiet and the solitude are still the ones in charge. I brush teeth and wash face before grabbing a cup of coffee And my favorite Holy Book, never concerned with something To cook. After I rise and read from the book that makes me wise, I try to recall and rehearse my dreams of the lightless night with little To no success. Oh, there are nights when sleep is really breeze, but Sometimes My sleep doesn't come lying still and undisturbed in peaceful Havens of the deep. Moreover, regardless whether my sleep was divine Or not, I love when the morning comes, when my peace is sweetest. 050921PSCtest, What Brings you Peace, Chantelle Anne Cooke.2P
