Psalm For Waiting Hearts
Psalm for Waiting Hearts The Lord is my harbor. I shall not drown. Although I am far from the nearest town, I continue without feeling alone. I am seen by the dove fluttering overhead. We are all his children. We lie aside paths along shores, painting psalms on walls, on stepping stones, in music, in manuscripts, and on all bridges. Thus, we all may tend to the scope of our ssouls with expressions of awe in flaming phrases and sparked strokes inspired by the verses of Eden... Let me write for waiting hearts... The Lord is my sea. He made me to swim through dark channels. I had no fear for he was beside me. He had me pass from wild waves onto smooth shorelines where he dried my head and traced his cross with oil onto my brow. The Lorrd is my ocean. I float, singing Alleluia! to the rhythm of gentle waves. Then, once I had floundered, hungry. He fed me bread. I became thirsty. The cup he held out to me was overflowing. I had felt lost, but he embraced me. We went on side by side and my soul wrote passions. The Lord is all life and shall be known as Father and Creator for all the days of eternity. ——————————————————————————(c) sally young Eslinger 2021 Thanks be to God
