Remembering Our Innocence
As the warm April rain slowly falls all over this lonely town, we are feeling lonelier than the hummingbirds perched on trees, not happy with the mood we are in, only being aware of our extreme pain! We can still remember how innocent we were laying down and start laughing on a meadow of thousands of lilies... holding hands and singing was exciting; weren't kisses delightfully sweet? We didn't wait for moonlight or stars, neither for fireflies to fly around us... air and light gave us the freedom to explore love without boredom! We still remember how innocent we were then believing in fables; ah, did we ever lose the vision of a lovely dream escaping from linen, did we miss the softness of our skin? We can still remember how innocent we were then, splashing big smiles and saying hello to everyone; when night came the streets were filled with folks, we laughed with fat clowns who inflated balloons, then released them into the air with amused gestures... we followed them until they reached the silver clouds! We can still remember how innocent we were then... when raindrops fell and tackled our emotions!
