Gorgeous Pink and Purple Twilight
A mystical, magical Barbie sky Alive with a surreal layer of orange She reminds me of that frothy orange Julius drink also, the orange and pink mini-dresses of the sixties The ones we did not dare wear in small town Iowa. It is a palette of color initiated by Gods and Goddesses To the west I see purple, probably orchestrated by Athena. Pink beaches are one thing, a fuchsia sky is entirely ethereal As the only witness, I feel I must capture it on camera I click away, taking photo after photo. None of them are half as gorgeous as the real deal. Put the camera aside, enjoy this, a spirit voice says. I do this, and ideas begin flowing into my heart. I feel lighter, happier, and more joyful than ever. This is a magical place, I whisper. I am too awed to speak in a normal voice. How long could this last? I decide to stay and find out.
