M'Lady Sleeps
a remembrance of the perfect girl the phantoms of a wakeless world percale and crisp, so sheets unfurl the bastion of my scheming I find you, sweetly dreaming ... I've stumbled 'bout in frantic fogs and wondered in my chemic cogs your netted seams and lacy togs the fruit of gilded grooming one perfect orchid blooming ... tresses swirled in shades of umber scents entice with cool cucumber dare I end such dulcet slumber? limbs and buds beguiling let for wondrous wilding ... my salient thoughts reside in 'soon' your cat-kin skin contrived for June facades daubed by a melting moon those secret places calling so made for tender mauling ... your eyelids, gently forth-and-back of counting stars in boundless black I'm loath to quell their timeless tack for sake of twilight's magic still, wasting passion's tragic ... now, that wakeless world has found one maiden, fair, meand'ring-bound a scoundrel, I'm, but sleeping sound she'll stay, until the morning like petals 'midst their borning ... but should she, in the dark, awake my arms about her, sweet, to make our perfect love for gloaming's sake and not a thing to harm her her knight ... in moonlit armor.
