He'Ll Need To Up His Game
While napping in my easy chair a couple days ago - the television muted as I slept - I opened up my eyes to find a great big hairy spider crawling ‘cross the floor…and as it crept, Every now and then he’d pause, rise up just a bit, then actually turn his head to face my chair! Knowing I had wakened, he was keen to let me know that he was well aware that I was there. The half a dozen stops he made sorta ticked me off. I s’pose he thought I’d stay where I was at If he made sure - that I could see - that he knew I could see him…..which, of course, I could from where I sat. Dying to mash the little turd, I reached to drop the footrest, thinking - ‘if I do this nice an’ slow, Like the fool he’d have to be to stay there - unafraid…he’ll wait - so I can deal the fatal blow!’ But that ain’t how it happened, guys. That ain’t even close. The truth is…that damn spider’s still around, And I’ve put up a huge reward - which I will gladly pay - the day that little pecker-head is found. After getting up real slow…(I couldn’t have passed a snail while moving toward where Mr. S***--head stood)… When I fin’ly got to where I might have done him in…or where, at least…I thought I prob’ly could… I tried to stomp his little ***, but as I raised my foot - I slipped and fell and whacked my blankin’ knee! And, going down, I cracked my skull…which broke the blankin’ screen on…yes, of course…our 60 inch TV! Pissed as hell - and back in debt - I’ve set a bunch of traps…I need to see that little ******* dead! Especially after learning my insurance doesn’t cover TV screens you shatter with - your head! But just you wait…sometime soon he’ll show his ugly face - if, in fact…he’s actually still alive - And when we fin’ly meet again - he’ll need to up his game…..‘cause I went out and bought a 45! PS: I've now got 4 new Audio-CDs - @ 4 1/2 hours each = (62 diversely varied pieces).
