Our Big God
They forgot the God who had saved them Who had done great deeds in Egypt Psalm 106:21 When I am faced with an obstacle or situation that looms large before me I can measure myself against it Lose heart When I feel myself thinking I need to be reminded that God is big It’s nice to have a friend or family member take hold of me And remind me I even better when I remember how to remind myself How many times has God saved me? Every single time Then out loud Or on paper if it helps to see ink on the page as proof I list all the times God has come through for me or the people I love Every time I thought there was no answer and He answered me Or give me new questions. Every time I thought I would fall apart and He held me together Every time I thought I wasn’t enough He showed me that with Him, I was Every time I was inconsolable He consoled me Kristin Armstrong Turned to Poetry: Jac R.
