Eulogy To Virgil
We really miss you, Virgie... Regardless of the closeness or relationship you had, Son or brother, uncle, grandpa, great-grandpa, or dad, Or even just a friend of his, you had to be impressed, For Virgil, in his special way, was just the very best! Before I knew this friendly soul, this truly selfless man, I couldn’t have claimed to know “the greatest guy”, but now I can! A kind and fairly quiet man who only knew one way, He gave it all he had, and did it nearly every day! But, when old “Virgie” found the time to do as he would wish, He’d usually grab his fishing pole and find a place to fish. He’d always help in any way he could, a perfect friend, And he instilled a spirit that for some will never end. You see…there’s still a lot of “Virgil” here…although he parts, He lives on in his children, and his grand kids, and our hearts. RIP, old timer -
