You'Re As Good As It Gets
This piece was written soon after I’d gotten to better know a truly wonderful woman who, due to a couple relationships that ended hurtfully, is now so fearful of ever again trusting her heart, has made up her mind to try going it alone. How sad... You’re As Good As It Gets Hopefully there’ll come a day you’ll rise above the fear with which - despite your wanting to - you’ve yet to come to grips… And fin’ly throw aside the doubt that’s kept you in denial, and give yourself completely to the heart - and arms - and lips Of someone who wants nothing more than who you actually are, to be your very closest friend…to walk with you through life, To care for you, and pamper you…to be there when you’re down… ‘cause I have yet to meet someone who’d make a finer wife.
