Little Ones
So precious and so dear As they come I am talking about The Little Ones... Once they are brought into this world Most adored and cherished Hurray - for the Little Ones Who make their parents merriest. Look at the joy and happiness They have within themselves It makes you want to put them High on a pedestal. So adorable - and so sweet What a joy to have Even when they decide to cry It makes you want to laugh. You only want the best for them Nothing is too great They grow up to be someone You really appreciate. But oh - those Little Ones So precious and so dear For longer than you want to It's the only voice you hear. It's mommy this and mommy that What does the Little One want? Mommy knows if daddy doesn't Little One wants to want. It wants for this - It wants for that It wants for everything But, when it comes to the real want It wants for comforting. Comfort is given and received Little One is happy now Now - mommy can laugh again Yes! Mommy knew somehow.
