Destiny-6
~Destiny~ I woke up in the morning and rose from my bed My minds not awake so I’m like the living dead I walked into the kitchen for a cup of motivation As going back to sleep is becoming a temptation But that’s not an option so I begin to get dressed Because I have a job they tell me that I’m blessed Then a sinking feeling starts to envelop my heart When I turned the key and my car wouldn’t start So I grabbed some change and ran out the door Because the boss said I can’t be late anymore Running down the street just as quickly as I can And still missed the bus even though I ran I stuck out my thumb and prayed for a ride When a car passing by and a truck collide So I ran towards the accident fast as I could Just as any person in their right mind should Searching for survivors in the middle of the wreck Suddenly I noticed something that I did not expect The face inside the car was my boss from work That same guy who is always calling me a jerk I got him out of the car and now he’s doing OK And he thanks me almost every single day So no matter how bad things may seem to be We never know what’s written in our destiny (Book 6 ©2006 "The Journey Entering New Levels") This is one of my own Personal Favorites. God Bless and Best Wishes to YOU...Peace
