If a Flaming Pterodactyl Ate My Homework
One day I went to school without doing homework Out of tension mind went berserk How could I forget I was such a jerk Scared of teacher from homework would never shirk In class teacher asked about it I told a Flaming Pterodactyl ate it I had been hearing this story from mother last night That was the first thing that came to my mind in fright Teacher didn't say anything To me that was the happiest thing Had fooled teacher boosted proudly to all Little knew in my own trap I was going to fall My exams went off well What expecting to score well Got zero much to my surprise Went to teacher tears in eyes How is it possible after my overwork? "I think flaming Pterodactyl again ate your work Paper was blank when I received them As for your exam, you have failed them" ________________________________________________ After writing above poem I thought what if a flaming Pterodactyl actually ate my homework. If I lost my work for some reason what would I do? ___________________________________________________ If A Flaming Pterodactyl Ate My Homework I will drop everything and get back to work No use lamenting over what is lost In despair many precious moments are lost Date: 1/24/2021 Written for ...and then a flaming pterodactyl ate my homework contest Sponsor : John Lawless
