Not Really That Special, Part I
She was a young woman named Cassidy, and she was not really lacking for looks, the type of girl who liked the party scene, would look at her phone, but not that much at books. She had only reached her twenty-third year, and had a boyfriend who brought in a mint, but the man was beginning to bore her, she liked his cash, but was tired of him. So she had come down to her favorite bar, told her boyfriend it was a girl’s night out, in truth, she was looking for some action, a man who would take her home and get loud. Now Cassidy knew that she would find one, beyond her looks, she had some bit of fame, she was an actress who’d guested on shows, enough so that people would know her name. Any man she found would just salivate for the chance to bed a girl from TV, the only question was finding one who knew how to pleasure women properly. It was always a bit of a crap shoot, some men were great at looking like players, she didn’t go for the obvious choice, looked to the bar, found an older man there. He was dressed well, in a styling, old vest, was nursing a whiskey poured over ice, she figured he was probably thirty, took care of himself and cleaned up real nice. She siddled up, said,”Hi, I’m Cassidy, and I couldn’t help but notice you here. I like a man who handles his whiskey, when so many guys just pound down the beer. “I’m looking for a little fun tonight, and you look like you could use a new friend.” The turned his head, and gave a grim look, and said, “What kind of women approaches men?” She smirked and declared, “The modern kind do. I am a woman who knows what she wants.” He said,”And you think I’ll just go with you, that men will settle for any old c#!t?” Cassidy’s eyes ballooned at the man’s words, “What the hell did you just dare say to me?” He said, “I’ve seen you here with other guys, and I’m not interested in disease.” She slammed her palms down, seething visibly, and said, “You’re an a@#hole and you’re a fool! You’d be lucky to get a woman like me, I’m much too good for self-important tools!” “And what exactly makes your so awesome?” He said, “Is it your looks that make you great? Attractiveness ain’t as rare as you think, and surgery can buy good looks these days. “Add to this the fact the bartender says that you’ve a boyfriend you never bring here, what makes you think I’d risk all that drama?” She just snarled and said, “You must be queer!” CONCLUDES IN PART II.
