What Animal Would I Be
If I had my druthers What animal would I be, A horse or a cow or a pig? Would I be something cute and little, Or rather be something big? Cats are sleek and dignified, With an air of mystery. Myth and legend surround the cat. They've quite a history. Dogs are stalwart guardians and friends, Famed for loyalty and devotion. Handsome, pleasing to the eye, All this is his denotion. Horses are so elegant, And beautiful to see. Their strength is phenomenal. Hmmmm, which one would I be? Of the many that I've known, No human could compare. When I've needed friends the most, I've always found them there. No human I have ever known, Had their patient dignity; Or their loyal, long suffering love, And stalwart bravery. So if I had my druthers, What animal would I be? I could never be like them. I'm stuck with being me.
