A Slave In Freedom
Africa my Queen, my King yet a slave An angel in hell a freed soul in bondage How else will I show you the gold Beneath the glowing dark skin of yours How long will you dine on rotten tables Wallowing in mud with worms and maggots Africa, you see yourself no better than dogs Sold your integrity for little bones that rot Greed and foolishness had eaten up your flesh And left you like malnourished child Whose rib and skull are left visible The shameless have no shame so they say A better word for our African looting leaders Who suck dry the continent of her good Like black bed bugs with protrude belly Political preachers of propagandas Empty headed monsters that wears the crown Africa you've lost your bright colors Like the faded wears of my grandfather you're a young and vibrant woman With sagged, milkless breast of a grandma A barren idiot, stagnant stream Polluted and bitten by the termites of time When will you rise to erase your names From the book of suffering and slavery When will you defend your nations From being seen as lower beings on earth We chanted in unity "black lives matters" Yet a black leader does not believe such Africa, its a pity we watched you fall Crawl in your dust and beg for food I weep, I wail, I mourn for my Africa Who knew not the strength she has in her It's time to rise up and defend your people You will beg to live if you fail to die for this
