An Antelope's Tale
Two antelopes, separated by a gently flowing river, casually grazed in a luscious green valley. By chance or by providence, knowing not which, they each looked up and across the river that separated them. As the enchanting moment was unfolding, I was reminded that I once lived in a little town called Antelope, which was to me a most gentle and serene abode. With gazed and targeted setting eyes, the buck locked his site on the doe as the female antelope upon noticing such non-stop starring, looked aghast. But without reciprocating, she walked slowly up the hill away from the valley floor. The buck continued his fixation, and after his momentary idol faded from site, he concluded that the encounter was pure chance, and that is all. Lest that brief moment be lost forever, the buck snapshotted, documented, and filed away such beauty that still lies aflame in a special compartment in his heart. 010921PSCtest, Nature, Regina Mc Intosh
