Simple Things In Life
So strange the road ahead, has become a dead-end, No left or right turns nothing, only a barrier on the far side, Definitely not lost, this is my chosen path Out of options, I decide to turn around and go back It’s impossible an impenetrable mist, has descended behind me Hesitantly I go towards the barrier, see if can it be climbed Not a chance it just spreads out, going on forever But wait the ground below, is warm and soft I start to dig a tunnel, with my bare hands It’s child’s play, to go under the barrier This material just parts, upon the slightest touch, Drawing me in deeper and deeper til finally I reach some kind of exit, Actually no, it’s an entrance I’ve dug my way into hell Oh come on satan, that was way too easy!
