The Preamble
The Preamble By Franklin Price 12/13/2020 The Constitution is the U.S.A. It is our Federal pact. Says how our country's organized; defines how we should act. Preamble to it, sets it up, shows us all the reasons why it was written in the first place; to whom and what it should apply. Our government has lost the way. They have no reason now to boast. The Preamble is not welcome. Washington is not the host I give you the Preamble. Please determine for yourself; Whether it is being followed, or being put upon the shelf. Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” Now that you have read it and, I hope took time to think. Do you believe it's still considered, or been tossed into the drink? We the People are the reason that we have a Washington Seems to me we've been forgotten, in a lot of things they've done The Union's more imperfect, common justice on the fence, tranquility is gone, we rely on self defense. General welfare is suggested, that takes away our liberty If we continue on this road we're on, we'll lose posterity. It's time that We the People made the parties toe the line. Govern by the Constitution that our founding fathers signed They are not our royalty, no matter what they think They should honor the preamble, or be thrown into the drink
