And yet, they are just a trick of the light, or so I keep telling myself at night. After moving into this haunted house, I have heard things better blamed on a mouse. But I now regret renting this old place, for there in my mirror; I glimpsed a face. My drapes oft flutter without any breeze, and once, I swear that I heard someone sneeze. Between the whisperings and stranger sounds, the locals won't even step on these grounds. No one wants to live with a poltergeist, no wonder the place was so cheaply priced. And when I saw things floating in the air, I knew it was time I got out of there. Some say there is no such thing as a ghost, but I insist they are no idle boast.
