My Life
My heart is a pomegranate glistening from outside bleeding from wounds within My mind is a watermelon calm outside pricking from inside every seed intact still hurting My body is like a coconut hard from outside but soft inside, inner core filled with tears of all physical and mental aches Sometimes I prick like a pineapple to protect inner self But mostly I allow people to treat me like a sugar cane and endure it all silently My constant companions are my hidden grape tears which make their presence every time I cry or laugh. Both green and purple remind me I am not alone be it sorrow or joy. If I bare out all my pains and sufferings I will shed tears like an orange cut into miniscule pieces. I never refresh my wounds, they are past and of no value to me like a seed thrown away after eating a fruit. I speak only about my joys so that I see a smile like cut kiwi radiating laughter all around. Date: 12/4/2020
