Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I do not know the how Nor the why Rhyme be told i just don't care So long as today's date is not April the 1st and i am not the but of a foolish joke And what i read is not a mistake and correct And if it is , this poem is my way of saying thank you offering you my sincere gratitude and eternal thanks For choosing one of my poem's to grace the pages of the Soup Anthology And granting me the single most greatest gift i shall take to my grave I only wish or hope my father was still alive so i could tell him and share this news with And pray none of my school teacher's are alive to witness this or it may just as well shock them to death Because as any of them would rightly tell you English to me might as well have been a foreign language As shy and lazy admittedly was i and only found my voice far to late once my father passed on And was left with nothing else to fill the void he left behind He used to say education and commen sense are two completely different things That might be missed on report card's So this may well be not mine but in actual fact his Anthology So with kind Regards Appreciation , Gratitude Yours Sincerely To the Soup Posthumously from my Father & I his Son As thanks to you My brittle , brittle wall i hide behind I'm standing now proud in front of front and centre signing it in capital bold emblazoned letters Maybe now my dad can finally rest in peace safe in the knowledge just how much he taught me and i learned from him And that he will never be forgotten and loved forevermore now that through me he has been published
