Some Say
the world is upside down - some say it is we that are. Some will tell you, that if we hold a bloom in the dark, it may stay open long enough for us to sleep in its dreams. We might meet the Lord Buddha or a goat riding a donkey, who knows? Even a lie can have some truth in it. If a poem offers to tell us something, well then, any poem can do that. Some say If a poem shows a lot to us that is good, but it might be just all show. You don’t have to take that picture and hang it on a wall in your mind. Some say that this world is on fire but then again maybe we are that fire? Some maintain that it’s possible to see what others will always miss or miss what other’s will always see, but maybe there is an in-between, a new tongue between old lips, or an old tongue between new lips but at least it will be you looking, your tongue, your lips.
