G O D
G O D God my professor who does not sit on a stool at the head of the class correcting exam papers with their columns of graphite-filled dots with each question being multiple choice and the last choice reading “none of the above” even you may see I know indeed there is one above who is the answer above all answers and who I believe does accept life experience credits for the lessons of love of light of graciousness of all creation contemplated. That God my savior teaches it is not the answers but the Processes of all his creations from ecology to art to love among all all living to mercy to sinning and redemption offered then received as arms are opened from heaven so must the arms of and on earth be opened to receive and learn we are not born knowing nor loving nor separate it is human interdependency which founds so many lessons most of all then the most monumental of lessons is a personal relationship with our God all glory be to Father Son and Holy Spirit now and forever I will declare it in the name of Jesus who is risen he is risen indeed! God my creator hears the leaves of the trees applauding his calling to all virtuous possibilities and the untold numbers of miracles unknown or celebrated songs of praise go up from the rocks which go outside our human hearing as do the accoustics of ocean waves keeping their eternal rhythms like the winds since the beginning slung into being from our orbiting “Holy Holy” in whispers or screams as they pass alarming the air to attention through valleys on around mountains and over dunes our world is so filled with natural choirs whose songs we were not created to hear but which our own groaning calling rejoicing souls do hear Just as God my Father astonishingly embraces through eternity to love and protect my most simple being my God my sword again the trials the battles the pains the evils crossing this life’s’ paths you are king of all kings upon your eternal throne grading no exams and stepping forward to come even here to our rooms in resounding steadfast love as our spirits will open to know that soft touching you give as ever-present angels stand bowed in peaks of awe. God my love...oh see these difficult hours when the ceiling can seem to be the only landscape I have but it is deception like all things separate from love and will be dispelled by psalms received for I am now but a melody in time wishing to be a syllable a single syllable of the true Alleluia. God my past my present my future more than wisdom for which I did once pray as did I once and most recently pray you make me your vessel while I stand in your responding answers I pray now to know how I might continually sing your glory sweet peace as yearns my soul with my arms up-stretched waving onward your kingdom forever more. **********. ************. *************. ************ (C) sally Young eslinger 11/23/2020 Thanksbe to God
