Battle With Bottled Tears
It is tears I battle with every day, They seem to flow unchecked, I wish there was a way to make them stay, To make me feel less wrecked, I water my bed with tears of despair, Mine eye's consumed with grief, These drops of groaning are too much to bear, Who will give me relief? Yet, in His bottle, God puts all my tears, Are they not in His book? He has strengthened me throughout the past years, He'll dry my teary brook. (10.6.10.6 syllables) 11.22.2020 Psalm 6:6 - I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies. Psalm 56:8 - Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
