Life Is Fragile
Early morning my husband's mobile stopped working There was an important official meeting Without mobile he couldn't attend that Furthermore all contacts were in it How to inform office? Being in a very senior position he was really tensed His BP shot up, I got worried If his BP shoots up beyond limits I will have to take him to hospital Mind went back to past when he was in ICU for high BP Doctor had told high BP can be dangerous to life Further if he is admitted, he might get corona.... I remembered how my father had passed away I had given him snacks in evening, He had dinner. After some time he complained of chest congestion I saw his nails were blue. Asked my brother to rush him to hospital He walked out with my brother Few hours later my brother came back alone He burst out in tears, appa(father) is no more I got the greatest shock of my life After my mother passed away,he was everything for me My mother died of cancer when I was 10 My mother-in-law had dinner and milk. She had fever, so I told her "Wake me up for morning coffee. Don't think you are bothering me" She had her coffee around 4:30 while I usually woke up after 5:30. She flashed one of her most beautiful smile and replied "I will not have it" Morning I went to her room to ask her for coffee She was lying on floor dead Another sudden death! Life is so fragile anything can happen any moment... My husband's face was tensed His mobile had lot of important information. He was thinking how he will manage if he looses mobile data I was really worried I prayed to God from the bottom of my heart Just then my husband told he managed to get contact no of an office colleague I could sense feeling of relief in his face By night his mobile was repaired and working without data loss. We all heaved a sigh of relief. Problem was resolved but I was left wondering So much dependency on mobile, is this right way of living? Date: 11/2/2020
