The earthlings were scared, so they carved faces. Known as Jack-o-lanterns in pumpkin places. They put lights inside to glow in the dark. Figured if he was around, he would recognize their mark. They decorated their houses in oranges and black. A tribute that Jack knew as do not come back Black represented the veil between heaven and hwell, Orange he recognized as this is not the place to dwell. So poor Stingy Jack was treated forever with pure ugly mean. Which makes the Jack-o-Lanterns grin each Halloween.
