The carefree girl that I once was, had vanished. All that remained was an empty shell of my former self. Hands of hate caused love and joy to evaporate from my being. But out of nowhere my former self beckoned me to fight to live. As time went by I got stronger and stronger and I wanted to live. I started to love myself and see my self with new eyes. I was no longer a victim, I became a survivor . Today I don’t just live for the girl that I once was, I live for the woman I am today.
