The Islands
So my home is this island on the other side of the lake, right? But this home is dangerous and could end up with detrimental consequences. But, it's my home- it's my happiness. The lake I have to get to it through is wavy and downright dangerous. But it's my home- I must get there. Or else I'll be stuck on this new worthless island forever and ever. Nothing here matters- literally nothing. It's just sad. This is my trap. Either I live bored, angry and uncaring but organised and not in my home, or I risk a lot going through the lake to a home I'm not even sure is bloody safe! But... It's my happiness. My only happiness. And that's my life now. It's just sad. Even sadder is how these islands came to exist, how my home is so deadly. My happiness is an act against god but it doesn't involve lying or hurting anyone at all. But oh well- guess we gotta forget our homes, right?
