The Dead Man
It was Friday at the train station, waiting to go home. Stood there with hundreds of others, I certainly wasn't alone. Suddenly, I heard a yell, I couldn't tell what it was about, It was loud amongst the crowd, a disturbing kind of shout. As I got nearer things became clearer, I could see more and more. A man running away and a body on the floor. As I reached the scene all that had been became fuzzy in my head, as I looked down at the ground, I realised he was dead. From the dead mans pocket, a wad of cash poked out. It seemed to me, that this must be, what it was all about. Then, that's when I saw What I hadn't before... So obvious on the ground .. A kitchen knife, covered in blood. The murderers weapon was found. The police turned up with an ambulance too, A policeman led me away and said it was a man they knew. They said he was a dealer meeting buyers to do a deal but the buyers had no intention of paying, they were there to steal. The policeman then thanked me and said that I could go... Will they ever catch the killer? I doubt I'll ever know!
