Thanks Mom
I could run a pie over there I think But my baking prowess is famous for being nonexistent. What other excuse could there be? I want to meet your dog? I ponder this for a day or two. The dog looks friendly. The guy doesn’t. Why do I even care about meeting him? There is a concrete fence around him Two feet out in all directions. He might as well be wearing a helmet And a Darth Vadar mask. I watch him for another week. He is kind of cute. Maybe he is lonely. I could buy him some cookies or something. But he doesn’t look like a cookie eater. My mother comes over. She is in the yard less than two seconds Before she runs over and introduces herself Telling him about her old maid daughter. He goes into the house seconds later. I never see him outside again. Thanks Mom.
