And then it fades...
Where but the scents linger
High above the earth, it dangles unmoved
To the east! And then to the west.
Birds and bees, if they could convey.
The morning was a blessing
Dawn kissed by the deepest tinge of blushing sun
Mist enveloped the rolling hills
Cherries and pears got early visitors
By noon, deep blue sky enchanted the butterflies
Fluttering were the dry leaves, rolling as they flew
Busy were the ants harvesting fresh leaves
While fishes took to the deeper waters.
The first quarter slowly appeared above the woods
The dust blown trail was strewn of prints
A hurried breeze whizz passed
A lost petal flew by
No thorns outgrew the reeds
No echoes welcomed the colours
Till the last rays dipped under the horizon
Till the grey silhouette flickered
It sighs sweetly as it shakes
The rose withers of flying silk
No aroma in the gyres
The soft rippling as the frogs dance.
Never to taste the sweetest nectar
Against the whistling raindrops
With the dark brown in lust
Whilst the softest gasp of thorn pricks
Running in the midst of golden lilies
Bright pink flowers welcoming with smiles
The melody of spring thunders
Refreshing lightning saves the day
A drop hits the stone
It drops with a clank.
Now in the distance, the gates are opened
Fear not, hear not,
If all the stars witness
They shoot in welcome
‘tis so full with the final breathe
‘tis so light as feather...it fades...
