Pray
I was praying and now I see a tree And a bird chirps some words And I want to shoot it Because I cannot figure out Why God Came down there And cursed me and says You are like corn That can be eaten by the weak And when it is gone It is as good as dead Goes away The good that goes away Never comes back “Mein Literatessen”, said Death To which a cursed boy told “Why you are cursed?” “Simple, Christ You take it all away from me” and a boy, who had a Messiahal pretension, told “Yes, that is exactly What happened. Christ made that happen” But now not even in Heaven Christ dies Death kneels down before him And kills him And says “Will you please forgive me?” But then the boy asks “Did you not kill Jesus?” “No, I did not And why? Because… He said “Mein Literatessen” And the boy replies “Mein Literatessen is the worst one” But now death has forgotten There will be no resurrection The poor old boy is fading away So now we see corn on the cob But there is nothing quite like this Kiss with death Having a summer blast with us and then crying “And the most wonderful thing Is that we die Mein Literatessen”
