Now They Are Gone
In the golden haze of wooded lane, she stood alone waving them good bye, time for them to return to their home time for tears, back to den with a sigh! She is happy her son has done so well, bought him heaven for her place in hell! She is a lonely mum who loves her son, family was home and now they are gone! Horses and hoofs, far distant away, emptiness of space and rising dust, memories are perfumes of times spent, slowly she creeps back to lonely nest! would they ever know or ever tell, bought him heaven for her place in hell! She is a lonely mum who loves her son, family was home and now they are gone. Days of hardships in the local farm, handful of wages for work till dark, story times and dinner times with son, moments of deep love have left their mark! It will remain a secret till death knell those hidden fears and tears till night fell! She is a lonely mum who loves her son, family was home and now they are gone. Her smiling face cannot hide her tears, feet have direction but purpose no, for agonies, pain a mother bears, do her children feel or do they know? would they ever know or ever tell, swapped heaven for her place in hell She is a lonely mum who loves her son, family was home and now they are gone. Yet in years of solitude and pain, she knew her efforts were not in vain, quietly she suffers, would not tell, bought him heaven for her place in hell! She is a lonely mum who loves her son, family was home and now they are gone. would they ever know or ever tell, For him she remains ever happy in hell! She is a lonely mum who loves her son, family was home and now they are gone. Completely your choice your theme (10) Sponsor Brian Strand written 15/09/2020
