I Am Who I Am
There's one word that defines me which was evident in ages 1 to 5 now in my retirement years again has returned to show itself alive In the in between years it didn't leave but just didn't have same impact upon me those years of school, work and relationships brought pressure upon you, never felt free Throughout this time also battled with a stammer maybe if I had focused just to keeping calm the struggles of words would be less severe then I would know a real healing balm But never mind, life just carried on with spells of rest from this stress returning now to my present state contentment returns in it's fullness So summing up here and now I love my contentment so peacefully real memories of these formative years so " I am who I am" the real deal! (I have written this looking back on the effect of contentment upon my life, especially in my preschool years and now in my retirement years. I trust those who read it will enjoy reading this piece.)
