Heart To Heart, Things Unspoken
Sometimes life presents a formidable task, Sometimes forcing many to wear masks. Sometimes behind the masks lie seas of tears. Only love can dry the tears and dismiss the fears. I sit alone in an ocean of needs. Our heads and hearts have seeds, But to which shall we give heed? Which will bid us God's speed? Which one of two shall take the lead? My head says, no! Our head says, why? My heart says, yes. Our heart says, why not? My head says, it's late. Our heart says, just wait. My brain is solemn. Our brain is stormy. My heart is silent. Our heart is restless. I have a free will; the way humans live. I do not want to go. We much prefer to stay. I do not know what to do. What are we suppose to do? They say listen to your heart. I do not know how to do that. I don't want to have my way. But we need to have our say. Which road shall be taken? Which road shall be forsaken? Does my brain need to be awakened? When will our soul cease from shaking? If the truth be told in simplest reality, If the heart is rendered bare with clarity, Sometimes, life is laden with contradiction. Somehow, we must find and confine conviction. Our head says, let it go. My heart says, it wont let go of me. My head says that I cannot face it, and we will find a way to figure it out. Our heart says I cannot erase it, and there will always be guilt and doubt. My head, My heart, where do we start? My head, my heart, where will it end? Our head and heart cannot act alone. In God's heart is where they both belong. 080120PSCtest, Heart Truth, Chantelle Cooke 081020Ctestentry:N-A rerun 10, John Hamilton Final Call Of Nas Your Most Meaningful One Poetry Chantelle Anne Cooke
