Isolation Blessing
With blissful optimistic perspective Isolation can serve as a blessing While propped toward zealous onward pressing Trusting God* for His sovereign directive. Facing quarantine** enforcement measure Hopeful soul soars freely through faith wings’ might Serenely smiting isolation fright Within the Saviour’s fellowship pleasure. Never separated from loved one’s voice Gracious heart keeps willingly reaching out Encouraging with cheers prayers can shout Assuring care, making others rejoice. Offering presence despite lockdown pain Kind gestures extend ready assistance Through social media defying distance To help someone cope from pandemic’s strain. Grateful to linger more in Christ’s glowing I stay secured, enclosed by His embrace For spiritual revival and service grace Vanquishing isolation’s billowing. *Psalm 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. July 31, 2020 9th place, "Isolation Philosophy" Poetry Writing Premier Contest Sponsored by Chantelle Anne Cooke; judged on 7/31/2020.
