Enjoy Now Each Morn
The year half gone, from now on, just enjoy each dawn- so much has been lost, due to the cost virus tossed. Just waiting around, then we found life grew confound- all alone, end unknown, and bad news, still bemoan. With places closed, transposed are we and are supposed to get along, remaining quite strong, right or wrong! We must now accept and adjust though feeling thrust into sad ways and delays that now build dismays. Just when will we again, live good days- until then can't be forlorn by this thorn- enjoy now each morn. July 25, 2020 Premiere Contest: Keen Observation I Sponsor: Funom Makama Rules: 1 original, poem on any theme and of any title, published not earlier than the 25th of July 2020. This poem MUST follow all the meters/patterns/sequence you've keenly observed in the poem below, provided by sponsor: The way we meet, kiss and greet feels intense but sweet he paints my town red, softens my bed while I’m fed each other we give, then we live; so I believe from my store, he gets more but repays with a sore when love abound, its sound may cause a turn around his touch I need, but he wants to breed: Love indeed! Caesar who consumes the pizza still feels bizarre Bossy like dad, makes me sad, yet doesn’t feel bad Blind hen pricked with a pen, wasted years, now at ten I’ve stopped his drone, I’m so grown, my life now my own.
