2020 Is Not Over Yet
Two thousand and twenty started out rather bad. First of all for me, my Mom went to heaven to be with my dad. Next, I got depressed all sick and sorrowful and sad. I know she’s in heaven, but I failed to be glad. February was a blur, I remember it barely, maybe not at all. But in China people began dying – the short and the not tall. In March we in the states were given an extra day of spring break. I thought this was fantastic, not realizing the later heart ache. I have been social distancing until I am ready to gulp a flask. My husband leaves the house, with a bright colored mask. We have not seen our friends, our families or others. I have not seen my cousin, sisters or brothers. It is now July. Memorial Day and the 4th of July were not fun. At least I live in the country where I can sit in the sun. I can project what will happen, and I am using my brain. To focus on the positives, for these months were a pain. I predict the virus will dissipate as fast as it took over. I predict we will be survivors, sitting together in clover. From August to December things will change enough. We will get to be outside, and we will hug and stuff. We will be more respectful of what we had before. We will go out to eat, and we will lounge in the store. We will uplift each other, in person, which will feel great! It will be an enthusiastic time, we will now appreciate.
