Airing It Out
Today’s winds acting tough Arguing with the ocean waves getting rough “What is this stuff? Enough Enough!!” Man commented on the land About the natural fan “Would you chill? Doing this at will?” But the whirling Kept swirling “Are you done up there? In the air” Man wanted the truth Before something rips off the roof This was a feud That was really rude Feeling the bite Seas looking angry in this fight Rocking a boat Trying to stay afloat On the sidelines were the clouds Hearing invisible obnoxious sounds Shining the spot light That was yellow and bright On this day not even fit to fly a kite “You are so out of control Being so bold Thinking you just can scold” Man exclaimed about the flying cold It was a debate that started from above Pelting its point closing its hand wearing a glove Cooling the summer heated love Freezing the peaceful dove “This bitterness has to end Come to closure with what you defend” Man hollered Under his collar Then she came along Asked, “What is wrong? What is with all this fuss? Is it a must? Having all these gusts?” After the elements had a listen Stillness projected an image that glistened And Mother Nature fulfilled her daily mission Soothing a savage beast To say the least While man took it in stride Watched the simmering tides Realizing the surf Defended its turf “Honey it doesn’t matter where it blows,” She said since the lady knows When to let it go
