Living Dangerously
Living Dangerously! If earth’s life (from its birth) took one twenty-four-hour day, then man (in God’s love?), has had barely two seconds to praise Him, while dinosaurs, (their eggs all toast), reigned for hours? Is there reason or rhyme to explain God’s gross lack of attention, thereafter, did God spark ‘Big Bang’ and then take a siesta through what was to follow? I wonder if dinosaur sin died in Flood? Where were Arks? Or did sin not exist till Eve polished man’s apple? Were dinosaurs told in their day how to grapple? When lions’ kill progeny (even their own), does God seem to wring hands and demand they atone? Does your God say the righteous, ‘Faith Saved,’ float above Fray, washed hands won’t get dirty? We barely explore our sparse days till we poach on His judgment! God loves this or sours? Is it Grace we give others (or purpose our lack)? Is the wisdom we muster more man’s claw and fang? Is our faith born of Spirit or swamp where we wallow? Though Physics’ a ‘hoot,’ still the mind of most brave ‘quacks’ at ‘quarks!’ Should a ‘quark’ walk and ‘honk’ like a gander, that’s sexist? Though goose necks are longer, good Quacks sound the nicest! Should owls give three hoots what some Quack says, I ask you? I’d like pot more potent, but poems aren’t fescue!
