And a farmer saved her from an attack by hawks, from there she found a home in a large city house; but was alone except for clocks, with no food 'till late evenings not even a mouse. She wandered the dark, rooms and cried for her dead mother; could see a lush green park, and so wished for her sisters and brother. Then, one day they threw her in a box so scary, later a girl opened the box and reached in, but kitty was very wary; this is your home said the girl- gosh you are thin!
