Not Her Fault
Her heart, it bleeds just so profusely A raging force beyond all her control She held it tight as long as was able But had let another take then a hold He came to her one August morning His looks were that of chiseled stone His eyes, they pierced her ever deep His voice was sound of winds so blown She protected well her virtue offering Her guard stayed high as high could be His charms were that, just so charming Soon he became the man she would see Time went on, his charms had faded His voice, no longer wind swept sound As now it became used as a weapon By verbal attacks that left her doom bound But she, she proved to be stronger She mustered up everything that she could find And forced him to find then the doorway Severing any of the ties that did bind But now she lies there always crying Knowing to never let this happen again It was just so rough, she didn’t foresee it That usually happens when you let someone in Her heart, it bleeds just so profusely A raging force beyond all her control She held it tight as long as was able But had let another take then a hold
