Do As I Say, Not As I Do
Rage and Pain, perpetual distortion Swirling and spinning, The words inside my mind. You do a lot of talking my love, But when do we listen? Clinging to the story's of the long projected past. Looking at the soul through the distorted frames of a divine broken mirror. The shards have become entangled and twisted within the heart and the mind. Patterns of fear, heartbreak, emotion, guilt and shame. The sting of broken ideals, loving family and remembrance of brother and sisterhood stolen away. Hits hardest when the masks slip, you can see the face of the monster hidden underneath. Do as I say, not as I do. Dance to the rhythm of my wants and needs. Be damned if you dare to tell me...No. Expection, wants and needs. Pain patterns and guilt trappings. Soon Fade away when rationalised by the compassionate mind and heart. Why should the son carry the burden of the father? Because of what is remembered. Always carried through by the memory's of what has been. The storytellers way to synergyse its experience. At the same "time" All understands. So why do we continue to talk so much..but never truely listen? Forgiveness. Unless pain will continue to cycle and cycle. Realisation suffering is a loss of Divine connection. All that wander are not lost.
