Alberto's Eerie Photograph
A photo was taken by my friend of a house he’d looked at. Once it was developed, he noticed in the window. . . the faces of frightened children peering out! Magnified, that photo showed towering behind them. . . a demon. May 20, 2020 for Kai Michael Neumann's Double Exposure Poetry Contest (this is the true story of my friend Alberto’s photograph which he took while house-hunting many years ago. Disappointingly, he has since misplaced it. But I saw it with my own eyes. I even had it saved in my old e-mail account which unfortunately I’ve closed! It was the closest I ever came to seeing something supernatural. Even inside the house, though there was no indication of anyone with them, Alberto’s small child kept saying “El coco,” Spanish for Boogeyman!)
