I live in South Australia with my husband, John We awoke yesterday morning to a cold, beautiful Sunny, Autumn Day. We decide to take a picnic to the Adelaide Hills to see the magnificent display of Autumn leaves that is particularly spectacular this time of year and usually attracts many visitors. The ride from our house to the hills takes 90 minutes and whatever the season it is always different and all the seasons have a beauty of their own, we feel very blessed to live here. We set off as though we were going on an adventure. We do not have much rain in SA, a couple of days before our outing it had rained heavily leaving everywhere looking lush and green. A brilliant blue sky with billowing clouds Sheep, Cows, and Horses were grazing adding to the ambience of a perfect picture of serenity and calm. We were both so immersed in our surroundings we felt part of it and had no thought of the world outside. "A peace past all understanding" We enjoyed our lunch together in a lovely park with nature all around. We still had not reached the place of our destination. There are no words to explain the extravaganza of colour combinations and sheer artistry that met our eyes and took our breath away when we finally finished our journey's end.....Amen
