Eternal Bequest
When before our God we stand at the pearly gates of heaven. When we all, rich and poor, must account for what we were given. Whether we have acquired vast amounts of material wealth. Whether we have given aid to the poor and served others needing help. Whether we have gained great success, and now are losing our health. When our Master says that we have reached the end of the line. When our heart's clock ticks no more, and we are out of time. When we are breathing our last, and everything is being left behind. When the giver of life is at our door, and it's our time to go. What will we want most for others about us to know? What will we bequest or leave, and will it show what we truly believe? What will we transfer or leave, and will it be more than possessions received? Will we demonstrate in death what in life we valued most? Will we describe in death what serving God really cost? Will we disclose the Godly qualities of our character? Will we share from our colossal treasures of Christian principles? Will we distribute from our eternal riches that which forever lasts? Will we pass on our abundance of Godly wisdom that will not quickly pass? Will we humbly offer and share any tips for our great success? Will we be happy about what we have invested in our spiritual nest? Will we to all honestly express that serving God is life's greatest quest? And will we release no less than the best in us until we depart to our eternal rest? 052807cjPoSp Inspired by Rev.14:13
