Sea World
I think I know why the ocean flows - From the poem, I think I know why the ocean flows by Vijay Pandit During one stormy winter season, I lived in a 50-foot boat for a couple of months. I also know that the Atlantic waters on the east coast of the USA are warm, and I'm aware that the Pacific Ocean waters on the west coast are cold. But beyond the Pacific's sandy beaches where she flashed me real good, or just at the exit of the Golden Gate on a short Bay Cruise, I have not been out into any of the world's oceans and seas. But I have heard the fog horns alerting ships coming to port, and still, I know so little about the seven seas. But I think I know why the ocean flows.* she flows to keep the world afloat she flows to greet the sandy beaches she flows because she has places to go she flows because of the moon commands she flows to keep the salt from killing her She flows because the gravity forces her she flows because she's dancing with the wind she flows to keep continents separate and sovereign she flows because she's alive; only dead things are still She flows because she knows that mobility prolongs life she flows because she's ever receiving the waters of the world she flows because she got word that the Dead Sea could not flow 041320PoSpCtest, Poetic Lines From A Poetry Soup Poet - Vijay Pandit Silent One, Sponsor. *Facts, fiction, and a little fun. 3P
